Now Offering Telehealth!

Dealing with the stressors related to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak has undoubtedly caused worldwide anxiety.  Many providers are turning to Telehealth services to ensure people have access to much needed mental health care during this extremely stressful time.

Many studies have shown that Telehealth services are equally effective as in-person counseling.

Below are some of the benefits of Telehealth counseling:

  • Convenient and broader access to services- You can access counseling from a private space in your home via your smartphone or computer.  Telehealth allows you to access counselors anywhere in your state!  This means you can choose a counselor who specializes in the unique issues you face, even if they are not located near you.
  • Ease of access- If you have mobility issues or difficulty with transportation, you can speak to a counselor without leaving your home.
  • Reduction in anxiety- During isolated times like these, it is important to continue interacting with others, even if not in person.  Being able to talk about your feelings with a counselor via face to face video counseling can give you the interaction you need to reduce anxiety and other unpleasant feelings associated with social isolation and crisis.
